how to tell the differance between a 87-90 and 91-92 frame

Default how to tell the differance between a 87-90 and 91-92 frame

for a lt250r?? anyone know?

I think frame itself is the same. Swingarm is different though.

The mounts for the rear linkage are different, I think, and also I think the 91-92 frames are gusseted more. Not 100% there.

Upper back part of the frame is different. The 90-92 don't have that wierd shock set up. They are like the dirt bikes with the shock set up. More or less other than that they are pretty much the same.

Nope, swingarms and shock setups are different. Im pretty sure its 85-86, 87-90 and 91-92 for frames.

you could use it but you would have to also use the later swingarm, which from what i understand would be an upgrade anyway.
