Does Anyone Have an 05 Kodiak IRS yet??

I was wondering how it rode and cornered compared to a Grizz. My friends have grizzs.....I really do not care for how they corner and feel top heavy.I do like the ride though.Maybe a ride for the wife.

I was at the local yamaha dealer today looking @ the griz and the kodiac today trying to decied which to go with,I like both, but the griz is more than what i need, power and $$$$$ wise I was told that the 05 kodiac will be in around the second week of Aug,I like IRS and the machine so ill wait untill then to buy.Gives me more time to sell what I have now.Whats is your thoughts on the kodiac?? Good machine ?

Kodiak1,
It does lean a small amount in the turns, but it doesn't feel as tall as a Grizzly. It is just enough smaller that it seems more managable, both on sidehills and turns. Ride quality is much better than the old Kodiak 450, and about the same as a Grizzly.

It will be out pretty soon. Yamaha always puts them out shortly after release, where some take a while to get to the dealerships. I think the Grizzly was out like a couple weeks after it was introduced.
As far as ride, I bet it will be close to a grizzly. Handling might be a little better, because its a little smaller.
