i'm needing some help with this quad,a friend dropped it off, for me to look at ,havn't had time yet,i would like some suggestions before i dig in,first off let me note that this bike sets out in the weather,i beleive its an '01 model just out of warranty. #1 will not shift into reverse, nuetral, stays in high (drive) position ,shifter handle itself does not move. prob.#2 idles too high engine will die while riding with single backfire usually like loud gunshot,starts right back up. 10 to 15 min later same thing. another thing, this quad gets ridden very little he doesn't (play) on it, deer stands and back, makes me sick,i'd be in the mud every day, he's afraid to get it dirty i guess, yet he leaves it out in rain/snow. any suggestions ,advice appreciated thanks a lot!!
