i am wondering if a banshee can be rode good on a mx track not racing but like fun riding what mods would i have to do to it to make it better for mx such as pipes and things like that

 

well for fun riding get you an aftermarket exhaust (heard toomey exhaust are real good) aftermarket air filter and rejet,then put you on some new tires maybe holeshot or razr.After a while you'll probably need some new shocks.

 

also ssince the local jackfrost might be closing i will be riding trails some tight some not a few water crossings maybe and over logs

 

you might want to gear it down a bit too

 

how do i go about doing that i was thinking maybe pual tuner midragne pipe with duncan fat boy 2s and boyseen rad valve with power reeds and a 3/4 inch reed spacer and also a trinity C.V. single carb kit

 

My dad's brother's son (i guess that makes him my cousin) has a pretty trick banshee set up for mx. He has the +2 lonestar a-arms +4axle. I think he has t-5's elka shocks, he just the new holeshot tires. Pretty sweet......for a Banshee.

For mx the first thing i would get would be a pair of shocks.

yeah.... the banshee's front suspension hasn't changed (as far as i know...) since it came out in '87
