Idle problem 650?
#1
When I kinda rush my 650 and then have to let off for any reason it wants to die. Is this just the nature of a Vtwin or do I need to adjust the Idle on it? I am not even going to talk to my dealer. So, I thought I'd ask someone who might know, thats why I'm asking ya'll! as always thanks for any info!

I had the same problem as you when it was first new. You might want to turn up the idle speed (there is a little **** on the right side of the engine).
Oh yeh, I had a ton of problems with it flooding when cold, and then would start. Turns out behind the tailight is a one way check valve that only lets air into the tank. Well, it's too restrictive, so if you don't have a full tank of fuel, heat and movement creates a bunch of pressure in the tank, and then it blows the fuel into the engine and floods it.
I "accidentlly" broke my check valve, now all is fine.
