WHat do I do? I need to adjust the parking brake I think?? When I let the clutch out it rips and with it in it backfires and spits only when i get on the throttle!

 

Is your choke on? Will it rev up in neutral?

 

choke is off and yes it revs up fine and even rips when I let the clutch out just while I have it pulled in it chokes

 

You might want to check your air filter and your spark plugs......

 

both fine, it only cuts out when the clutch lever is pulled in, runs great otherwise revs good idles fine it even idles good with the clutch lever pulled in I cant figure it out??

 

Have you done any mods to it? When did it start running bad? Have you tryed to ajust the idle?

 

no mods, and I have tried adjusting the idle. it started doing this a few days ago and I thought I had dirt in my carb or something then someone told me to check my parking brake and the lower wire that has the two speperate wires with a clip that plugs into the clutch lever was disconnected I clicked it back in and it reved fine again now its chokin only when the clutch lever is pulled in... Im boggled how can I eliminate the parking brake it never worked anyhow??

 

It is the Switch attached to the clutch I had the same prblem I had to adjust that switch on the clutch lever.

If it backfires when you let off the gas, it might be the result of a lean condition.... Look for a leak around the intake boot on the carbs.....
