had my wifes 2001 Polaris Trailblazer 250 out in some muddy conditions and for some reason it wont go into reverse anymore. i got it all cleaned up and tried again and still no reverse, it shifts through the 3 positions and runs fine forward. but when i go to back it up, i push in the override switch and it usually takes a second to start moving, but it just revs up and doesnt move.

anyone have any ideas on what i should check? hope its nothing major

Bent shift fork?Or it may be as simple as to high of idle.

 

i dont know, im new to polaris so pardon my lack of knowledge. where is the shift fork? inside the tranny? i was thinking, rather hoping that it could have something to do with the override switch, maybe i can follow the wires back to make sure its hooked up
