I saw a ds650 with and inside the frame aliumin battary box.Was that a custom job? Or does some one make them?..I a mgetting ready to tear down my ds for powder coating.Would like to find the box to install when i get my frame back..Any help would be great !! I've got an extra box collecting dust. I will have to take a picture of how it was mounted. It was done to the bike before I got it.

You'll have to remove the air box.

Only down side is the weight is in the back of the bike. Would be nice to move the weight up front to keep the nose down after making all the power mods.

Johnnyairtime has a battery/airbox made of aluminum that he bought somewhere, do a search for him and he has his website in his sig..
