Default 1986 Honda Fourtrax 350

I have two 1986 Honda Fourtrax 350's and both of them make a clunking noise in the front end when I turn, somebody told me it was the limited slip differential. Has anyone else ever ran into that problem. If so what can I do? Thank You

Yes it was common for that model to make that noise (assuming it isn't the CV joints). It wasn't considered a problem. At the time, Honda's fix was an additive for the front diff. Ford Friction modifier, for use in their limited slip diff's, was the one we used. Don't know if it's available anymore, but you should be able to find an equivalent. It did help too.
