Default My Blaster is dead now, what to do what to do hmmmm

Well my Bro was up visiting and I lent him my Blaster and he thought it was a streetbike or something. He ran the damm thing at WOT down the highway for 15 miles in 100 degree weather up a hill. It didn't like it. I have no more compression and he told me the back tires locked up for a split second then it coasted to a stop while in top gear. I fear the worst.

The blaster has Toomy pipe and silencer on it and the ket kit supplied in a package deal I got last year (or was it 2 years ago?) I like the toomy pipe and the Blaster had decent power so I think I want to retain that, maybe.

The cheap way to go would be to rebore the cylinder or if im lucky just a hone job and slap a new piston in it.

But Im kinda thinking this might be a good time to think about other more powerful options. Anyone have an idea for a different motor I can bolt in without too many mods? I have a Husky 360 (1992) 2 cycle dirtbike motor I thought about bolting in but that engine is a pain in the but to get parts for.

Ok cool I did some more looking in this forum and found quite a bit on Blasters and using 490 and various YZ engines. I might do this if I can find a decent engine lying around.

On that note anyone ever make a 4 stroke blaster? Most 4 stroke engines are probably way to large to fit inside that small blaster frame though

I do have an old phazer II snowmobile hmmmm

Tie a sturdy piece of rope to the front bumper and drag it behind a DS650. It will be a lot faster than stock . JK I would go with the big bore 240 kit.
