rust on rims

Default rust on rims

my 03 sp 700 twin had a little rust on the chrome rims so i cleaned them up ok, all but one. it seemed that one of my rims rusted a lot more than the other three, is there anthing you can suggest i put on them other than wax?

like you said , wax! That outter edge rim lip is hard to keep up, maybe spray em down with wd40 every now and then. Dont let the water sit in that lip during storage. That damn lip has been my ony problem,why , why that DAMN LIP#%$@&*![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-disgusted.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

Default rust on rims

I've given up on the lip. I'm gonna replace them with the Series 5 aluminum rims.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-cool.gif[/img]

Default rust on rims

take some fine grit sand and soak it with water,then just rub it on the rust spots and it should come right off..i do it all the time to the wheels on my jeep..
