gapping a spark plug?

Default gapping a spark plug?

I just bought a new NGK spark plug for my 1985 350x, and didn't ask how much to gap it. Can somebody please tell me????

Default gapping a spark plug?

Most plugs now are pre gapped at the plug factory. Just incase, get the factory setting or gap .028 what ever it is. Then get a feeler gauge. This isn't what you did in junior high. add up enough spacers to give you .028. then stick that between the electrode and grounding tab on the plug. open or close the ground tip so that the gauge will drag through with a slight bit of pull on the guage. You are then gapped. In this case to 28 thou

1989-86 TRX350, .028


autolite plug =4163
