Default Trail Boss Mod Question

I recently purchased a DG Xtreme pipe/silencer for my 1992 Trail Boss 250, and was wondering if I need to (or should) modify the carb jetting and clutches?

Welcome and yes to all those mods. If you can find out the rpm range the pipe is designed for and try to match stuff up with it. This is why most buy all of these mods in a kit. They tend to be designed to work together.

Does anyone know what the RPM range for this pipe? I don't think it is in production any more, and I haven't been able to find any info on it.

DG is still in business even if they don't manufacture that pipe they should be able to give you the specs on it.

I would have to guess it's in the 35/37 mph range. That is on hard/wet sand. I will have to pull out the old GPS next trip to the dunes to make sure. It is at least 5 mph faster than a stock LT80 with all the restrictors removed.

I in the proses of making a 150 hp lawntractor, i am going too do my best to hit the 150 hp marke!

and did i spell marke right?

oh yea i forgot too mention that i will be puing a ford inline 4 engien in it.
