I was just wondering if any sportman owners have squeeky brakes that rub while riding, they told us it was "normal" after we bought it new of course.

Yes, it is fairly common and normal. The brakes will wear after a while and the noise will stop. You see this on automobile disk brakes alot too.
Another reason, is if you ride in sand alot, some sand particles will get in there and cause noise. This does not reduce the brake reliability though.

 

Yes I too have that problem, with the rear foot break so much so that they wore out!! As Lurch said sand and stuff get in there, I sprayed down my sp500 after every ride now.

When you need new pads get the EBC Severe Duty pads! I replaced two sets of regular pads on my Sportsman 335 in 700 miles. I now have the Severe Duty pads and they are outstanding.I found that Rocky Mountain was the best place to order them from. Over the internet it only takes a few days for arrival.

 

Mine still squeeks, they replaced one of the discs cause it warped , but they all still squeek after 1 1/2 yrs of use, i might try those pads you were talking about,superduty335, well thanks

does anyone have any other problems that polaris refuses to fix or cant fix?

 

Has anyone broke in the brakes like the manual says.I didnt read it until after i rode my machine,yes mine squeak also.
