I just stumbled on to these, although they are never mentioned, I was curious if any of you had
heard of them and or tried, or know of someone who has.
Their called the FOX AIR SHOCKS, I know FOX has been around for quite some time, the info said
that they'll give you the most desirable ride you will ever be able to dish out to them {not in so many words} but I'm trying to be accurate in the info. They state they will NEVER bottom out
due to jumps, and ride over harsh bumps and ruts, like you were not riding over them at all.
I'm trying to be accurate in what they said about them but I read that about an hr. ago so
it's not that fresh in my mind. They are pretty pricy though at $860 - $900 for the fronts unless they were talkin for three of them {which I doubt}.
So let me know if anyones heard or tried these shocks before.

Do they have springs? For some reason, i remember hearing about them not having springs.

 

Yeah they are springless shocks, they look pretty cool, but I don't know if it's all true what they wrote about them, thats why I'm askin.

 

 

Modquad has them on his "stealth" Predator. Although due to a new job position (he wont say what) he can no longer post here[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img]

I'm curious how these shocks perform outside of what the manufacturer is saying about them.

 

I have not yet seen them reviewed in any of the magazines. I mean, where they actually put them on a bike and actually ride the thing!

My experience with Fox Air Shocks, on mountain bikes (two different bikes), have not been altogether positive!

 

These shocks just came out not too long ago. No springs and to adjust how stiff they are you pump air into them or let it out depending on the kind of terrain you are riding
