Default 250r & 350x Gas Tank Shroud Swap??

Will this work? If so i might think about buyin a pair for my 350 cuz i like the look of the 85' and 86' 250r tank shrouds better than the 350's.

You are probably right. I got to lookin at some pictures of the two different shrouds and the spaces between the screws that mount to the engine look almost the same, but the 250r shrouds are quite a bit longer, i am thinkin it would look goofy just because the shrouds would stick up way too far above the tank. Has anyone else tried this swap before?
