Is this ture for my 2005 Yamaha Kodiak ?

A buddy of mine has an '89 Big Bear. He has Kenda Bear Claws on the front and ITP Spider Tracs (same tread as the Claws) on the back. The ITP's are wearing MUCH faster than the Kenda's. It's full time 4x4 too so it's pretty much pulling all the time on all wheels, tho the rears will probably tend to wear a little faster.

He raves about his claws and will buy nothing else for his quad from now on. Kendas tend to be cheaper around here too than the ITP's and Maxxis tires .. dont know if that means they are "Cheaper" or just less expensive, because there is a difference.

I have the ITP Mudlites and on my Wolve and they have worked well in dirt, mud, sand, adn tracked well on the pavement doing 50-55. But I have no experience with the Kenda tires. I do know they are a lot better than the stock duncraps.

The Bear Claws are great all around tire that wear's very well since it is a six ply tire including the tread. I had them on my King Quad and I would compare them to my MudLites on my Kodiak now and believe they are a great tire. The MudLites are wearing faster then the Bear Claws but they are also a softer compound(tread not tire). The price is very reasonble and they should last you longer then most people own their quads.

Comparing them to the stock ones is no comparision in my book. I would of gotten them for my new one but they did not have them in stock when I wanted my quad so I settled for the Lites.

What Yamaha are you looking at? The 400 or 450?
