carb troubles...air screw stripped

Default carb troubles...air screw stripped

tried to adjust carb and stripped the damn air screw. tried to fix it ... no luck!! soooooo any one got a stock carb they want to get rid of??? pm me

Default carb troubles...air screw stripped

If you drill it out to the tapping size you can clean out the thread and just fit a new screw , If your not to confident to try it yourself

Any decent mechanic or machine shop can do it for you and it shouldnt cost much

Default carb troubles...air screw stripped

had same problem. the tread is an odd ball. got lucky, drilled it out just a bit smaller than the screw and caefully peeled what was left out of threads. got new screw and put it in.
