I have found a guy by me locally that wants to trade his 86' 250r for my 2003 Matco toolchest. I was originally looking for a sport quad to trade for the toolbox but am kinda interested in the three wheeled wonders. his bike would also come with paddle tires, knobby tires, fmf pipe, alpine boots, helmet, studs. he has it listed for 2k. my toolbox was $4500 new. would this be a good trade or should I keep looking for a quad to trade for. I was also curious to see if any of you guys had any good or bad things to say about the 86' 250R's. please reply

 

DO IT!!! I would make that trade in a heartbeat!!!! Nothin bad to say about the 86's at all.

 

2k sounds about right for an 86 in excellent/good condition. how much would you part with your tool chest? also factor in that finding these trikes in good condition is worth some bucks in its own.
