Where to get the bags
#1
I was at Walmart and they are starting to stock atv stuff! I saw the same style bags as the mail order people offer, but for half the price! I saw fender bags, rack bags, tank bags, shifter extention handles to shift by hand, and more that was not on the hooks yet. The fender bags were priced at $14.98, look that up in Cabela's. Are they as good? I don't know, I am too cheep to buy the $40 ones (each), but I will buy the cheaper ones and have two and not pay shipping. Hmm, that means I will have enough to buy a small rack bag too.

I bought one of the bags for the front of my Rancher. After seeing the price at walmart I had to do it. Get the water proof spray and coat it good. Walmart has the spray in the same area with the atv stuff. Now you will have a bag that should keep your things dry. I will test my bag out this weekend.

The bags are stocked in the sporting goods area. My friend bought his already and he thinks they are heavier than the tank bags he bought from Cabelas. I was there friday and they are almost fully stocked now. They have big and small camo bags for front and rear, a camo three pocket bag for the rear, camo covers and other stuff. The camo is a good looking style not the old army looking stuff.
I would agree on spraying them with water repelant spreay to keep your stuff dry.
