Check out the Yamaha Kodiak 400 4X4 for 2000! It has many more features than any other automatic.

The new Honda Rubicon 500 features an all new automatic transmission design that shouldn't face the reliability issues you mentioned. It has gotten rave reviews thus far and of course offers typically great Honda fit and finish.

Belts don't usually break unless they have been abused. Such as using high gear instead of low when towing or climbing steep hills.

The Kodiak won the shoot out last year for the best 400cc machine. The 2001 model has a speedometer, the machine is about perfect now.

Test ride one, you will love the way it handles.

try the honda recon........I suggest a 2 wheel drive quad for first time buyers......4X4's cost more than they are worth unless you will be working it hard.

bang for the buck, I think the Honda is a very good buy. easy to service, easy to ride, and bulletproof. JMHO
