hey, finishing the bearing install on my 400 ex for the axle. i got one more problem. when i put on my brake rotor it wont go into the bearing carrier all the way. i belive it is hitting the outer seal, and its stoping the rotor from going in. should you put the outer seal on the rotor first before you slide it on, or is it just hard to slide into the outer seal. thanks

 

I would think leave the seal in the carrier, place your caliper in place and help it with your mallet. I just did it on mine and had to use the rubber hammer.
