ok i have to tighten the chain on the 88 250x and lol i dont know how to and the guy i bought it from didnt have the tool but what to do

 

if it is anything like the 350x , there are a couple of bolts you loosen up/or take out. My uncle has no tool either and he carefully took a tire tool or long screwdriver and there is thing on the inside left that you screw. dunno if this will help, but that is how we do it on an 86 350x

 

ight thanks man ill try it and let you know how it turned out but its the same excat thing as a 300ex just faster

 

if it is anything like mine there is 2 bolts on the end of the swingarm you have to loosen them with a 6mm allen key then one teh left side there is a thing that rotates if it is the stock on rotate it backwards and it should tighten it if it is not stock like mine you may have or rotate it another way

 

its a JK but there is 2 bolts at the bottum of the swingarm i think thats what your talking about bc i tried to turn that thing back but couldnt but i also did not loosen the bolts
