Mystery battery wire on YFZ450
#1
It all started when i took my plastics off for a good scrub down.. After i got them all prettied up, i put the plastics back on starting with the rear one. When i went to start the quad.. it made a clicking sound, with no turning over.. it was just clicking at the battery. So i searched a bit and found a stray black wire that was torn off from some place. I don't know if it's the ground or what... but when i attach it to the frame, the battery clicks, when i leave it dangling, the quad does nothing. Sooo, basically my quad isn't starting and im not too happy. I'll give a cookie to anybody that can solve this.. let me know if there's any details i left out.

there is a small black wire that comes from the negative battery cable and hooks into the wiring harness. if that wire isnt connected only the battery is grounded and not all the stuff in the harness - like the start button.

Thanks for the info.. I think my battery might be a little drained. It tries to turn over, then just goes back to the clicking noise. But I found where that wire goes, so thanks.
