Stolen Quads!

A friend had two quads stolen out of his shed this week in Pahrump, Nevada which is 50 miles west of Las Vegas. Please keep you eye out and help him out. Thanks.

Yeah its a new thing now.......to be really cool you have to steal quads or vandalize someone else's property.....
Stupid people.....they would rather spend time destroying other people's hard earned toys, than spending the same time working and earning enough money to buy their own......

Problem is that now these things are investments for people, which means people will steal them to sell them. They are holding value like never before and people will exploit it if they can. Scumbags are scumbags, they will steal anything they can if they can get money for it.
Of course there are those who steal them to ride them but that's more of a risk than stealing them to chop them and sell the parts or just sell the quads as a whole unit two states away.
My buddy just had a break-in in his garage down in Jersey, they stole some tools and tried to get his 02 Z400, but they either got spooked or something because they left a small hack-saw on the floor and his chain was scored like they were hacking on it for a half hour or so. Either that or they figured they'd never get it out the small door on the side. Either way he got lucky.

Maybe we ought to get with the moderators here and see if they can add a thread just for listing stolen quads. Then people can check with the list if they need too.
Be sure your buddy gets with the local authorities with this and have him check back with them from time to time to keep them actively working on it. If he made a police report on the stolen ATv's, then there will be a record of them nationwide as stolen. Also, if they were insured don't let the insurance people scew with him either.

A stolen quad forum would be great. After talking around here I guess there is a rash of quads and dirt bikes being stolen and at night when the people are home and the scum bags are going into locked garages and stealing off of back patios. Sounds like some druggies working this town.
