Default NO MORE 2 STROKES

i just heard that yamaha is goin to stop makeing all there 2 strokes ALL of them. The person who told me has many friends in the yamaha corp. and all corps. are going to stop makeing 2 strokes because of how they pollutes the air[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img]

There is already 3 posts today about this...look around and don't post identical posts!

There is also TONS of info on this from over the last year or so, you'd know this if you use the SEARCH! Good lord.

the only 1 i seen that had sumtin to do wit this was sayin how they r gona put 4 stroke engines in banshees n blasters but i said they r wipein them out theres a difference

be easy on him bubba he is a noob to this site, he may not know all of the features yet

There has been talk, but nothing will be for sure until it actually happens. Up here in canada they have no intention to discontinue two strokes, or at least that's what the dealers are claiming.

2-stroke dirt bikes will still be around after 06.
Honda just built a new 250 motor
and Yamaha also has been tweaking there 2-strokes.
2-stroke quads may go but the bikes will be around for a long time.

True the 2 stroke bikes will stay but will only be sold for closed racing and they will be in very short supply. You'll have to provide enough info that proves you will be only racing closed circuit to buy one from the dealship.
