The title No more 2 strokes will some day happen, though not for a couple years in Canada, as many of the dealers around here have claimed. He said the Blaster and Banshee will easily make it past 2006.

I have a feeling that is a total guess or wishful thinking, Yamaha is known for not letting anything out and I think this is something noones gonna know about till it's announced by Yamaha.

Here is an idea, buy an aftermarket banshee frame, cases, crank, pistons, head, cylinders, etc....... and make your own bout all youd be lacking is a tranny and im sure somone would step up and make one, if not you could fit in one from an RD, RZ, or Banshee. Whatever you happen to find on ebay.

This is NOT just an atv and/or dirt bike issue. The Environmental Protection Agency has already effectively banned the production & sale of two-cycle engines in the USA. Not sure of the timetable, but eventually we will be unable to buy LawnBoy 2-stroke mowers, any 2-stroke weedeater, or any 2-stoke outboard engine. Once there are NO more 2-strokes manufactured or sold in this country, repair/replacement parts will become harder to find & more expensive until there are none left. Just another tragic example of our goverment taking care of us
