Default Blaster Tire Choice

Attention: Blaster owners I am wanting to know what brand and size of tire you are running? Or what tire you would recommend? My blaster is totally stock at this point and tire and wheels are what I am going to do first. Thanks for you input in advance.

I am adapting my 05 blaster to 9 inch wheels, ITPs with Holeshot XCRs on the rear. Factory fronts for right now til they are shot. Mine is completely stock for right now too. I think the shorter rear tire should give it a little more in the low end.

The smaller rear tires the quicker the acceleration will be, but the slower it will be. larger tires give you more speed but less acceleration. Just somthing to think about when picking tire size.

I went with 20x11x8 razrs. their hook up is similiar to hole shots but the holeshots are a lil softer and wear faster (even if they are "4ply") I dont understand y yr adapting yrs to 9 in. wheels. more often than not ppl are dropping to the 8 in. wheels. more tire space allows for more fluxuation between tire pressure which allows u to better adapt your tires to the changing terrain.

go with any of the ITP holeshots ( whichever one fits your riding style) or the Maxxis Razr's. My buddy has teh Razr's on his raptor, and hookup very good on loose dirt.

If you want something that will last a long time with excellent treadwear and durability, go with some Pure Sport's Bandits. I got the A/T's. They provide great traction on all surfaces, loose dirt, grass, or hard pack. The only thing I don't recommend them for is sand because they tend to dig holes. I recommend the 20" ones. Bear in mind however, that no matter what flat profile tire you get, you will have to either get some rims with better offset or cut off some metal on the footgaurds (small triangle piece) to make them fit on there w/o rubbing.
