I need to know the primary drive gear ratio for the Transmission amd the final drive gear ratio for 5th gear. Does anybody know what they are. I have called three dealerships and they dont know. I have called Bombardier Tachnical Assistance hotline and they dont know. The dealership also called the tech hotline and couldnt find out anything. I even called Mrhp and still got no where. Does anybody know or is it top secret?

 

as you turn the motor over in 5th just watch the counter shaft and see how far it goes on 1 revolution. i think that will do it wont it?

 

there are some online calculators setup for the DS650 but they use some of the old BMW F650 gear ratios. the correct ratios for the DS650 are:

the primary is 2.516 (78/31).

1st: 2.75
2nd: 1.93
3rd: 1.44
4th: 1.14
5th: 0.957

 

I greatly appreciate the information. Now I can acurately dyno my DS.
