Default blaster for blaster

I have an 04 blaster with the mods u see below. i planned on keepin my blaster and building it to be wht i want. then this came up on ebay. im just not sure bout buyin a motor over ebay, especially with the mods it has. the mods that kinda concern me are also the ones most appealing to me. heres the ad.

UP FOR AUCTION IS A 1998 YAMAHA BLASTER. IT HAS LOTS OF MODS AND NEWER PARTS. THIS IS A 2 STROKE WITH 6 GEARS. I PUT A OIL BLOCK OFF KIT IN IT, SO YOU HAVE TO PREMIX GAS 32:1 WITH 110 OCTANE GAS. THE MOTOR WAS REBUILT A MONTH AGO TOP TO BOTTOM. IT HAS A 5 MM STROKER PUT IN IT FOR MORE POWER.THE MOTOR WAS PORTED,POLISHED,AND MILLED.COMPLETE FMF EXHAUST SYSTEM IN GOOD CONDITION. HERE IS A LIST OF NEWER PARTS: .60 OVER WISCO PISTON, RINGS, GEARS, CLUTCH, HIGH COMPRESSION GASKETS,BOYSON PRO SERIES REEDS, D-SLIDE 30 MM CARB., UNI AIR FILTER, FRONT AND REAR PLASTIC, SEAT COVER, HANDLEBARS, GRIPS, FRONT AND REAR BUMPERS, FRONT AND REAR TIRES ON .190 DOUGLAS CHROME RIMS, REAR HYDRALIC BRAKE SYSTEM, CHAIN, ROLLERS AND GUIDES, PRO DESIGN KILL SWITCH, NERF BARS, FRONT AND REAR BRAKES. BRAND NEW PARTS THAT COME WITH IT INCLUDES REAR BRAKES, SWING ARM BEARRING KIT, BOYSON PRO SERIES REEDS AND ROLLER. YOU WILL ALSO RECIEVE EXTRAS LIKE NEW ARC PANTS SIZE 30/34, ARC JERSEY SIZE LARGE, ARC BOOTS SIZE 8, AMERICAN FLAG HELMET SIZE LARGE, SCOTT QUICK RELEASE GOGGLES, AND RED AND CHROME CHEST PROTECTOR.

and if only u could see the picture u would fully realize y i instantly fell in love with this quad. im just worried bout the motor work cause u dont know if it was built right and stuff. what do u guys think?

See if you can find out who did the work. It could get expensive having to run race fuel all the time.

I would question that one, since a 4mm stroker crank is as far as you can go for milling the cases without getting into the case mounting holes, sounds like someone may be bullchittin someone, ask for receipts if your talking to the owner, talk to some of the guys from hollywood about stroker motors, they have done hundreds of them, you would get lots more info asking a blaster specialist than off someone trying to sell something that might not be what it is on e-bay.

one other thing that doesn't jive is, how would he be using a high compression gasket kit with a 5mm stroker, for one with 5mm of stroke the piston would be way above deck height, and then to add a head gasket thats 20ths thinner than stock, its just not possible unless there was some very serious machine work done, then the combo still is not the best for power making.

Find something else. I have seen plenty of stroker blaster and they have all only been +4. Like pete said, thats as far as you can go with a blaster without getting into some serious stuff. Most people use banshee rods because they are +4 compared to a blaster.
