Way better. But, I've hated the Ohtsu's from day one. In the first two months I owned the DS, I had to replace 3 tires because of punctures too big to plug. I would have been better off to just buy the RazrII's then, but I didn't.
Since I put the RazrII's on, I have not had one problem and the bite is second to none. In fact, with these six ply's, I throw caution in the wind when riding in areas that are rocky, or creek beds. The tires are wearing great too, considering how much road time they have on them as well.
Caution: If you are considering the Holeshot HD's, I would ask around for some feedback. I know a fella that just bought a set and they only have about 4 rides on them and half the tread has been torn off. Now, this may just be a defect in the tires he bought, but I would be willing to say that all of them have this problem. Good Luck

 

The 501's are great for sand if your in a place where paddles can't be used. As far as durability, they blow, they're almost as bad as a Turf Tamer. I think I had more plugs in mine than the actual rubber on the tire.....
I've run Holeshots on all of my bikes, and love them. I have the XCT's on my DS, and they do seem to be wearing alittle faster than I'd like. I wonder if it has to do with the overall weight of the bike, and myself... Combined it's probably around 740lbs or more....
