Default KFX 700 for speed and power

How does the KFX 700 match up to the DS, YFZ, and Raptor if each is in stock form? Drag racing that is. I am thinking of getting one. I hear that they are great for an older guy like me. My friends run away from me right now. I have a Big Bear 400 and its slow as you know. They all have Yahama Grizzlys. We don't really need 4X4, so I thought the KFX looked like a great compromize. I do need clearance to jump felled trees, etc., so the shaft drive helps with ground clearance.
Thanks for the input.

If you should ever decide you need more topend speed OR an even quicker holeshot, changing sprockets is SO much easier than changing a ring & pinion

Going from a Big Bear 400 to a KFX700, would be like going from a Yugo to a Ferrari.

As far as how it compares to the other quads you mentioned, I have ridden each of them and raced several of each. In stock form, the V will do OK for the first 200 feet or so, then you will see a lot of the back of these other quads.

With that said, now that I have done a few mods to mine, I wouldn't trade my V for any of them. Not bad quads, just like my V better.
