Default 450R Kill Switch

I am putting a kill switch on, and was wondering where everyone wired theirs in? I heard the easiest was to hook into the key switch wiring. I do not have a multimeter at home, and was wondering what wire you guys used? I also heard if you did it wrong, the switch would work, but not your lights or fan. Thanks for the help.

my buddy did mine as i have never messed with one before and i believe he may have wired it into the coil and used some sort of small adapters we got from napa for about a buck. it works like a charm, no lighting problems or anything like that

Plug one wire to the plug on the coil. Put the second wire on the ground bolt right next to it.
