Reed Spacers (do or dont????)

I race a 99 Blaster on a TT track .
I'am looking for a little more mid-range pull
well the spaces help or hurt?
and what will it do to my top end?
Blaster Mods
Stock bore,FMF FATTY,FMF RAM,K&N with air box vents,280 main jet,14 tooth front 38 tooth rear,an 18in tires on rear.

i have a 92 blaster and when i put the spacer on i definetly felt the differance and so didi every one else that rode it so i say go for it and if you dont like it just take it off. it really helped on my lowend alot.

I liked mine. I noticed a little more bottom end but the biggest improvment was throttle responce. Mine is custom made aout of aircraft alminum and is 1" long.

Just a matter of fact statement. Move the reeds in toward the cylinder helps boost high rpm power while moving them out(via Reed Spacers) moves the power down toward low-to-mid range.
