tires, how far can you chage the sizes

i have a 2001 300ex and when i was riding today i blew my tire. i wanna pick up some holeshots but then dont seem to make them in the size of my old tires. IF my old tires were 22x10x9 could i run a set of holeshots 20x11x9? thanks for all yor help

I ran Holeshot XC's on our 300. Front: 22x7-10(4-ply); Rear: 20x11-9 (6-ply). I ride in the desert, and they are excellent! I run them on ITP rims, and it widens the bike 2" in front and 3" in rear, for some nice added stability.
If you are an eastern trail rider, I would go with Holeshot H-D's in the rear.

If you ride trail mainly, I would stay with the 22 inch height. You can change the first and second #s. They are height and width. The last # is wheel diameter.
