Trade in Value?
2012 Honda Recon ES, very very clean, always very well maintained, oil changes, ethanol free gas, no muddin, never abused. Getting brand new Interco Swamp lites (same size as factory OEM tires) mounted back onto factory steel rims. Never wrecked, plastic is probably 90% with 100 being perfect, but it does have some slight swirling marks in the plastic that you can see when the sun hits it at the right angle.
Any way wanting to trade it in on a larger machine, I am original owner, paid about $3800. With the 4 new tires which set me back $300, plus mounting fees, would $2000 be an unrealistic number to expect?

Are you trading it in to a dealer or selling it yourself?
Looking at KBB, the trade in for my area shows to be $1890, and the retail shows to be $2795. So you're in the ballpark with $2000.
NADA also shows a retail price of just over $3000.
So if you can sell it yourself, you might just come away with enough cash for some better tires for the new atv.

Just got my new Interco Swamp Lites in today, only 1 concern, the rear tires are 1 inch wider than the stock rear tires. The new are 22-7x11 vs. the stock tires 22-7x10. Will this make any difference in performance? Will it have any harmful effects on the machine, like causing extra stress on axle, drive shaft, or engine?
Taking tires tomorrow to have them mounted on the stock steel rims.

The last number on the tire is the most important, that's your rim sizes not width, the other numbers are how tall and wide they are which can change. They are both 7" wide.
With a 250 Utility I would of went from rear 22x10-11 to 24x10-11 myself. 7" wide rear are way too narrow for rear tires, that's even narrow for fronts. My 250 Moto4 had 25x10 rears and 24x8 fronts. I forget the rim size now.
I would sell the ATV not trade it in to a dealer. The dealer sure will sell it used for more then he paid for it off of you.
