THE DATES FOR THUNDER IN THE VALLEY HAVE BEEN CHANGED. THE NEW DATES AND LOCATION ARE AS FOLLOWS:

We have made a few changes to our current series. With the awesome response and continued interest in our night race at El Cajon, we've changed things around a little. Sorry for any problems this may cause... Our dates/location for the Thunder in the Valley will be as follows: Saturday <u>Morning </u>September 11 and September 25 at Elsinore MX Park Gates/registration open at 7AM, practice at 8AM and racing at 9AM. On Saturday <u>Night</u> October 23, November 13 and December 11 racing will be at El Cajon, gates/registration open at 4PM, practice at 5PM, racing at 6PM. All previous dates are cancelled this will be the new schedule. All points will continue and be averaged as normal. Riding under the lights at El Cajon and not the heat of Elsinore will be a relief to all. We will hold another series in 2005 at Elsinore. If there are any questions, please call Jason 951-609-5774. is this the race where u run through the streets a lil bit then run a trail?? or am i thinkin of a different elsinore race?

 

No, this race is at the LEMX Park, they have a quad track now. You'll run 5-10 laps depending on your class.

 

nice! is their a website that has info on this? and could i ride the quad track, jus to mess around, like any day of the week, assuming it's not a race weekend? i've never been on a motocross track before and i wanna get some experience before i try and race one. thanx for the info.

 

You could try www.elsinoremxpark.com for info. You can ride there any day but Thursdays and the Fridays before a race, it's open till about 3:00PM. On our race days the track is open as soon as racing ends usually around 2:00PM. Come and check it out. You can also get more info. on the track and races at WWW.quadracing.org
