ds vs raptor drag
Bone stock a ds should beat the raptor. The raptor gets a lot more power from a pipe than the ds but both improve pretty well with engine mods. There are a lot more carb options for the ds and that provides a possible avenue of advantage. Basically, he with the most money will win.

This should be worth about 1/2 of my 2 cents
Giving my modded 300cc 250R can put the spank on a raptor through the gears, when at Lil Saharah OK. this big dude and I mean big, I'm 260 and he had 100 pounds on me. Anyways, I followed him to the drag section figuring on putting sand in this DS's face.He put the spank on me big.
Another analogy for the awsome power of the DS would be:: at a GNC TT race last year.I'm confident that Farr's TT machine could whoop any raptor and Roy Bresnihan beat Farr in the Pro/Am open class. It was truely awsome racing.
Both DS's were modded, but so was all the others.

Isnt it funny that the good racers never seem to meet each other?
To tell the truth there are not a huge number of bombs floating around michigan when compared to kawisukicats and the raptor/banshee/yfz trio. I guess we dont have as much use for the sandpig in the tight forest trails. The ones I do see are usually pretty nice though. I have never lost to a bomb, stock or otherwise at any time before or after any of my modifications. Whoop ti doo. It really doesnt matter what bikes I beat, just as long as I'm on top at the end of the day.
