Default 500 scrammy lookin' for more bottom end

I'm lookin to add more bottom end to my Scrambler. I ride a lot of hills/jumps and am looking for more pop. Any suggestions? How about adding 1 0r 2 teeth to my sprocket?... Do you guys have any suggestions?...

Also, where can I find a larger sprocket?

If your scrambler is a 4x4 you can NOT change the sprocket sizes. Just pipe it and clutch it and you will notice the difference

Thanks for the info. It is in fact a 4x4. I had no idea that I couldn't change the sprocket size... you saved me much expense and humiliation. Thanks, again.

There are many options when it comes to exhausts. For a slip-on, you cant beat the sound, power, and price of the White Bros E-series. As for a full system, the HPD Powermaxx is the king. That and clutching combos are endless. I have mine setup to engage around 2200 RPM. I like it like that and am use to that setup. If you are looking for a low engagement, talk to ftwflh. He has his clutch set up so it has a lower engagement to a faster shift out rate. He has his set up to his riding style and is happy with it. But like I said, endless combos. You can also give Rick Ritter @ RCR a call. Tell him what you have and what you want it to do and he will put something together that will fit your needs. Rick is awsome to deal with

I have a 2002 Scrambler X.I purchased hottseat's $700 speed kit.( huge diffrence on bottom and top) If u want the most bottom end u need to buy a clutch kit and change the jettings. A pipe on a 4-stroke will not do much. It will be louder. Ur not going to be able to tell power wise. on a two stroke u can tell on both hp, and noise.

Hey Big Bad Scrambler -

I spoke with Rick Ritter as you suggested and I ordered new clutch springs. Where can I find easy step by step instructions to perform the work? I'm not sure how to do it....

Thanks a million!
