Default Yamaha 225 DX timing- anyone know how its done??

does anyone know how to time a ytm 225 dx three wheeler? i have no idea where the observation holes are to find the timing marks, or how to time it at all. i've never worked on a yamaha before, and have never really timed a bike myself. any help would be appreciated. thanx.

Default Yamaha 225 DX timing- anyone know how its done??

hey, since i got bumped down the list here, i wanna get this back up there towards the top. i've had this bike for a year now and i really wanna get it back on the trails. when i got it, it had a burnt valve, so i put a head off a parts bike i had, on it and now i don't know how to time it. do u just find tdc(top dead center) and make sure the valves are closed and the next cycle opens the intake valve? i would guess thats how its done, but i don't know. i've never done this befpre. and , do i need a timing light? any help would be appreciated. thanx.
