does anyone have big horn tires on their artic cat 650 how do they handle compared to stock tires. if i get an articcat 650 i want to get the best all around tire i mostly ride hardpack ,rocky ,some mud ,and some creek beds.not a whole lot of mud where i ride so i dont need sick mud tires .how do these compare to stock tires .any helpful suggestions?

in my opinion the big horns suck. the seem too slippery on wet rocky terrain and i didnt think they hooked up well in mud. the dirt devils are probably the best all around tire or the itp radial tires. they provide good traction in all types of terrain.

arent there 2 types of bighorns a radial and bias ply .one was better than the other due to softer compound rubber.though im not sure which one is better?also my friend has dirt devils on rear and they do good but they seem to always be spinning for traction.do you have bighorns ?if so which type?

If I could find the bias ply, I would get them. They weigh nothing, and have the same tread pattern.
I've read a lot on the Kawasaki forum about people having problems with both ATR's and Bighorn radials. Out of the round, wobbly handling at speed, lots of messed up stuff for that expensive of a tire. I've never had any types of problems like that out of any bias ply tire in almost 20 years with atvs. Kinda scares me away from what I really thought would be an awesome trail tire.

from what you explained sounds like the itp mud lite would be a good all around tire for you they are 6 ply so you got the stiffer sidewall so you won't have as much body roll as a radial has they are a smooth riding tire and fairly aggressive more so in the 26 over the 25
