shifter stuck

i haved a 92 350 trailboss 4x4 that is stuck solid in hi range anyone out there ever experience this? is it expensive to get the tranny redone?

Have you tried adjusting your linkage?

yah but its locked solid, cant move for or aft. reading the forums i seen something about the depress button on the shifter any one know exactly what this does?

shifter stuck

Take the top off the shifter,clean it out,fill with oil.You my have to soak it up with WD40 to get it loosened up.When you take it apart watch for the springs and bullets.
