First of all thanks for reading about my little issue! I purchased a set of Pro Taper 1-1/8 fat bars and some mounts. I would like to keep my ignition switch (somewhere) And my oil light. I dont think my tail light will work if I get rid of my ignition switch. Has anyone else had the same thoughts?, and if so where did you put these components. Any and all suggestions are greatly appreciated!!

I did exactly the same thing your talking about.
Drill a 3/4" hole in the side panel, just before the gas tank right side (sitting on it), you can mount the key there, it needs about 1-1/2" space behind it.
The temp light (not an oil light) can be mounted just behind the hood in the side plastic (so you can see it), you drill a 3/8"ish hole.Just look for a spot that will clear on the back. It will look clean. Mine looks like it came from the factory like that.

My Tag Metals bars came with a nice little aluminum plate that holds the ingition switch, temp light, and has a hole for the fuel tank vent tube. Should be simple to make one for any machine.
