Some guy that I work with just bought a Kawasaki 700 and he has been bragging behind my back that it will beat my 450r. So I would like to know what the results would be. I also have a 650 Rincon with big tires. I don't think that will win against the Kawasaki but he went to far when he said the 450r.

 

450r will kill the prairie the rincon will get killed by both

You have a 250 lb. weight advantage! To make it fair, you will have to carry a passenger.

 

I know the 450r will kill my 400..it has before but how would it do against the praire?

 

I have a 04 p700 and raced a 450r in a 300 foot drag and got beat.

 

My crappy 400EX has beat a stock V-Force 700 by about 5 or 6 quad lengths in 300 FT drag on dirt. So I think that the 450R will have no trouble at all unless its muddy. I haven't had a chance to see what either of the new 450's will do, but I am sure they are faster than my quad. You should have this one easily.

I'm not sure if your talking about a KFX 700 or Prairie 700 but I own a KFX and have raced a 450r. If both bikes are somewhat stock, you'll have no trouble spanking a KFX in any type of race. I have done alot of clutch work and have piped mine and raced against a 450r that was piped. It was close, but the 450r was able to stay about 1/2 legnth ahead of mine the whole way down the 500 foot strip. I was very surprised to see how fast the Honda was. As long as he doesn't have alot of mods, you won't have anything to worry about.

 

A 700 prairie with dyna cdi will beat a pipped 400ex by 5 lengths in 500 feet.
A stock p-700 is about 7 mph slower in 1/8 mile 330 '. A 450 stock will at least be equal to a p-700 stock in drag.

The Rincon will not be in the race.

 

Minimus have you changed out your primary spring yet? I put in the EPI spring, it is awesome. Now I want something even more aggresive like the Dalton O/B. I think you would love it, it is a cheap mod. Cannot wait to install my CDI today and rip around with it.
