Default rear sprocket clearance

I am reading on hear that you can run a 42t on the rear with out changing the chain. I have the 15t up front. is there enough clearance to run the 42t with the stock chain guide and a armadillo rear skid? it looks really close allready.anybody else run different size rear sprocket with a aftermarket swingarm skid?

Default rear sprocket clearance

My Armardo skid pan would not clear my sidewinder 42 tooth sprocket. I run a 15 tooth front. I had to take my new skid pan and make some cuts (about 2 inches long) where it curves up at the back. Once the cuts were made I bent down the flat part (if you were looking at it mounted on the bike). I then a had a welder fill it back in with the flaps bent down. I also had to rip off the plastic piece for the chain to ride on.

No problem no and it has been like that for a year now !!!!
