I have a brand new 2004.5 Shadowgrass 500 HO. Thanks to this site I should not be stranded due to a bad throttle cable or grounded plug wire. I have gotten the rack off but am finding the front panel awfully tight when I try to pop it off. The end at the headlight will pop loose as will the very front edge. Am I being to gentle? I really do not want to break this plastic. Thanks Tom

 

Welcome to ATV Connection backrivertom yah your being to gentle the plastic is very tuff. Bend the plactic at the top so it will clear the pod and peel it back. The center is held by two clips and chances are they will fall off. I threw mine away as the hood was always squeeking, now I have a piece of foam jammed between the hood and the rack and no more squeeks. The side plastic is the same grab hold and pull, they are very flexable. You got yourself a great machine, you're going to love it......
