my 00 tb smokes even after the thing warms up some one said it might be the rings? could this be true?

 

its a 2 stroke, its gonna smoke, but it also could be the rings

 

Drive it , don't worry about the smoke .

Make sure the injector pump is properly adjusted. They come rich from the factory for extra protection against warranty claims. If you're running synthetic oil, you can turn the pump down a little from the factory spec.

 

If the smoke bothers you, speed up!
