Default Tire pressure on 400ex rears

What tire pressure do I run my 400EX rear tires when hill climbing in loose sand/gravel? Also, what tire pressure should I run a MX track with tight turns and alot of jumps. I can read the tire pressure on the side of the tire, but when I was hill climbing, I wasn't hooking up as good as everyone else, especially after a run got tore up. Any help would be appreciated.

I run 2.5 psi in the dunes, no jumping, just easy cruising around, and 5.0 psi every where else.
