Default Looking 4 Advice on new Front Bumper on Honda 450 ES

I smashed my lower portion of my front carrier this past weekend and want to see if I can get a better and stronger after market front bumper.

the replacement part I found for $119.00 at bike bandit.

but was wondering should i replace the factory piece or just get a more beefy bumper.

If I go with the warn bumper do I need the factory carrier to mount it to.??

thanks any and all help would be mucho grass **** appreciated

Hi It is my belief that most after market bumpers such as the warn and kimpex styles are to be used in addition to the stock bumper. I enjoy knowing that I have the two out in front of me. I would much rather the after market bumper take the abuse rather then the stock as it is much beefier. The one down side is that they make the wheeler slightly longer and a wee bit harder to wind through a tight trail. I have my winch mount built into the bumper which I like.
