I heard that a stock V twin will outrun everything? Including a Raptor, the 450's and a Predator?
Please give me some feedback on this myth.

 

You can do a search and come up with plenty of threads to answer your question...

The kfx700 is pretty much the quickest off the line, but can be beaten by the 450's, the rap, and the pred in 300'. It does have a top end advantage over the 450's.

 

I've seen em on the sand near topping out...pretty dang fast

 

As a proud owner of a KFX 700, I can honestly say that it's only a myth. A stock 700 is actually pretty mellow and can be beaten by a stock Preddy, Rappy or YFZ or DS. You have to do some clutch work to get these things competitive with the others. Their just like anything else out there, you can make them as fast as your money will let you.

 

it is powerful but its the heaviest sport quad out there thats why it loses to the lighter quads.

 

Vtwiner said it best. but the 700 isn't the fastest or quickest sport quad availible.

When I went to Hatfield McCoy this guy had a KFX 700 with an exhaust and clutch kit. He was running high 5 seconds in the 300ft drags. I didn't see ANYTHING that fast except for the sick banshee's.
